Ambulance services are increasingly tasked with providing palliative care due to the demand for palliative and end-of-life care at home growing at a rapid rate. Associate Professor Aileen Collier discusses her team's research in exploring the patient and family caregiver experiences of paramedics’ contribution to palliative care at home.

There is a global need for focused improvements in palliative care within the acute hospital setting. Dr. Claudia Virdun, Professor Jane L.
