CareSearch updates

CareSearch collaborated with Palliative Care Nurses Australia (PCNA) to bring you a special Palliative Perspectives conference blog series with daily coverage from eight presenters at the PCNA Conference 2022, 1-4 May 2022.
 
After each presenter’s live presentation, a blog post was published to raise awareness of the research being undertaken and giving people not present at the conference the opportunity to stay tuned in to proceedings. To revisit these posts, go the Palliative Perspectives blog.

February saw release of a new publication from the Dying2Learn team providing unique insights into the community’s experience of funerals during the COVID-19 pandemic: Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Funerals: Experiences of Participants in the 2020 Dying2Learn Massive Open Online Course by Rawlings D, Miller-Lewis L, Tieman J.

In January 2022 our partner project palliAGED launched an expanded and updated For the Community section. Building on the work associated with the redevelopment of the CareSearch portal, the CareSearch team have mirrored relevant content from the new Community Centre sections and developed new content to support older people and their families.
