Tune in to PCNA conference topics with CareSearch Blog Posts

CareSearch collaborated with Palliative Care Nurses Australia (PCNA) to bring you a special Palliative Perspectives conference blog series with daily coverage from eight presenters at the PCNA Conference 2022, 1-4 May 2022.

After each presenter’s live presentation, a blog post was published to raise awareness of the research being undertaken and giving people not present at the conference the opportunity to stay tuned in to proceedings. To revisit these posts, go the Palliative Perspectives blog.

palliAGED launched an expanded and updated For the Community section

In January 2022 our partner project palliAGED launched an expanded and updated For the Community section. Building on the work associated with the redevelopment of the CareSearch portal, the CareSearch team have mirrored relevant content from the new Community Centre sections and developed new content to support older people and their families. Visit the palliAGED website to learn more about preparing for future care needs and addressing current end of life care needs.

CareSearch now connects you with information in over 50 languages

CareSearch now connects you with information in over 50 languages

In response to community feedback, CareSearch has expanded the new Community Centre Diversity hub to include a Resources in your language page with trustworthy information relevant to end of life care in more than 50 languages. Covering advance care planning, palliative care, support services, and chronic life-limiting conditions we hope that this resource helps to move the conversation from identifying barriers to taking action to address them. If you, your clients, or your community could benefit from information in a language other than English then visit the Resources in your language page to see what is available.  The collection will be continuously updated and we invite you to contact us at caresearch@flinders.edu.au if there are other resources we should consider for inclusion.
